Ferozepur: A head constable was today founddead at his home here under mysterious circumstances. Krishan Lal (40), presently posted as Head Constable at Police Control Room, was this morning found lying in a pool of blood at his residence, police said here.

Lal was earlier bodyguard of ex-President of Punjab BJP Kamal Sharma. After having dinner with his family last night, he went to sleep. This morning, his wife saw him lying in a pool of blood and informed police, they said.

Vibhor Sharma, DSP, Ferozepur, who reached the spot, said two shots were fired from the service revolver of Lal. “The police is inspecting various aspects of the incident. It seems that Krishan Lal committed suicide with his 9 mm service revolver but investigations are underway,” Sharma said. PTI
