Jalandhar, July 24: A day after AAP Leader of Opposition Sukhpal Singh Khaira said that police should probe the role of RSS-BJP for the killing of a Church Priest in Ludhiana, Pandit Deen Dyal Upadhyay Samriti Manch Punjab, a Hindu organization on Monday sent a legal notice to Khaira to either apologise or face legal battle. In a press note issued by Ashok Sareen Hikky, Mahamantri (General Secretary) of Manch, he said that Khaira was deliberately targeting RSS-BJP leadership to disturb the communal harmony of the state. “Khaira was trying to divide Hindus and Christian community in the state, which was a demeaning statement”, he added.He said that Khaira defamed RSS and the BJP, which has a glorious history of its leaders sacrificing their life for the sake of the country. Sareen said that Khaira was not even aware of the history of the RSS and the BJP and his statement has left the party leadership hurt.Ashok Sareen in turn targeted AAP for playing an anarchist role in the state and reports of its national leaders having tie-up with Sikh Hardliners. Earlier, Punjab State RSS head Brij Bhushan Bedi has also demanded apology from Khaira for defaming RSS and BJP leadership or face legal action. The manch general secretary said that Hindu organizations have regard for all the religious Gurus of the country and they did not believe in violence. Notably, Paster Sultan Masih of church ‘Temple of God’ located in Salem Tabri locality of Ludhiana was killed by motorbike borne assailants around 10 days ago.
