Ludhiana: Taking a dig at Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal for his statement on demonetisation of currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000, Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal said that Kejriwal had collected a huge amount of black money to contest upcoming Punjab elections and that is why he is worried now.
Dy CM said that being Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal should also respect decision of Union government to end black money menace. He also questioned Kejriwal to clear his stand on SYL issue and asked why Kejriwal is silent over such major issue, which impacts all Punjabis.?
The AAP leaders of Punjab are fooling the people by holding protests but the silence of Kejriwal has revealed that he is against Punjab. Generally, Kejriwal tweets his opinion on each and every issue but didn’t uttered a single word on decision of Supreme Court of India against Punjab on SYL, said Badal.
Talking to Daily Post, Dy CM Sukhbir Badal said that he has fulfilled all his promises made with the people of state. The development can be seen all over Punjab and state is touching new heights of development.
Elaborating on developmental agenda of the state government, Deputy Chief Minister said that SAD-BJP government has created an excellent infrastructure of four and six lane roads, have made Punjab power surplus, and have also constructed International Airport at Mohali. He also divulged that Mohali is emerging as IT hub which will be a numerouno destination in terms of technology and will soon provide jobs in IT sector to Punjabi youth.
