Sampla appealed to the electorate of Hoshiarpur that they vote heavily in support of Tikshan Sud
Hoshiarpur: Terming Arvind Kejriwal a leader of traitors, Punjab BJP president Vijay Sampla on Tuesday said that the AAP chief was trying to come into power with the help of those who want to see the state up in flames. Sampla said that by taking shelter in terrorists’ houses and meeting them, Kejriwal’s real face was exposed and people need to beware of him. Sampla was addressing a press conference here after campaigning for coalition candidate Tikshan Sud.
Sampla said, “The activities of Aam Aadmi Party are not in the interests of Punjab. Arvind Kejriwal wants to spoil the atmosphere of Punjab again and is in constant touch with anti-nationalists. In such a scenario we need to stand united and along with the electoral campaign we need to start an awareness campaign to save Punjab so that people don’t go astray. Our leaders can never be the ones who spread hatred, instigate riots and divide our brotherhood.”
In a response to a query, Sampla said, “We do the politics of development. The Akali-BJP coalition government has done record development in the last 10 years and we don’t even need to cite examples as it speaks for itself.”
Sampla said that the alliance would form a government again in the state and promised that the combine will not allow the pace of development to slow down.
Sampla made an appeal to the electorate of Hoshiarpur that they vote heavily in support of coalition candidate, Tikshan Sud.
Along with Tikshan Sud, local Mayor Shiv Sood, district BJP chief Raman Ghai, Yuva Morcha chief Rohit Sood, BJP leader Navjinder Singh Bedi, Ashwini Ohri and other party workers were present on the occasion.
