Kirpal Singh Badungar urged Sikh World to reach Amritsar on june 6. President of Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee Kirpal Singh Badungar has urged the entire Sikh Sangat to reach Sri Akal Takhat Sahib in the painful memory of Operation Blue Star of 1984.On 6th of June 2017, it will be 33rd year, that Sri Harimandar Sahib and Sri Akal Takht Sahib were attacked in 1984 and on June 6, every year Sikhs recite the memory of Genocide and meet at Akal Takht. On 6th June, there will be auspicious prayer in the remembrance of martyrs of 1984 genocide in Sri Akal Takht Sahib, during which the Sikh community would be gathered from abroad.The SGPC president said that in 1984, the military attack done by the Government of India at the source of sovereignty is a living example of the killings of Sikhs, which the Sikh community can never forget. He requested the whole Sikh world to reach Sri Akal Takht Sahib along with their family on June 6. On the other day Badungar had also held a meeting with Shiromani Akali Dal President Simranjit Singh Mann to celebrate the day of genocide and appealed him to attend the function.
