Langah booked for hurting religious sentiment
Gurdaspur(Gourav Sally/ DP correspondent): In a significant development, the former Akali minister and district president of SAD Sucha Singh Langah has been booked for allegedly hurting religious sentiments. The case has been registered under Section 295-A (for hurting religious sentiments) at City police station, Gurdaspur, on the basis of a complaint lodged by Sri Guru Granth Sahib Satkar Committee and Sikh delegation led by SGPC member Amrik Singh Shampura, Confirming the development, SSP Gurdaspur Harcharan Singh Bhullar told daily post that the case was registered against him after being proper investigation done by DSP rank officer Gurbains Singh Bains of Special Branch.In a complaint to SSP Gurdaspur, the member of Sikh bodies alleged that the accused Langah was not only baptized Sikh but also member of Sikh prestigious institute like SGPC who committed the big blunder while raping the woman. The video clip which was gone viral is another reason for hurting the sentiment of sikh people.
