Amarpreet Singh Makkar , Ludhiana:-Ahead of verdict of CBI court on Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim, the Ludhiana police have chalked the strategy to tackle with situation on August 25. Director General of Police (DGP) Suresh Arora held meeting with officials of Ludhiana police commissionerate and checked the security arrangements. DGP also directed officials to tackle with situation.The Police have also deputed cops of branches and wings on field duty to ensure law and order situation. The officials were empowered with magistrate powers and the cops will take directions of magistrates to tackle with any situation. Director General of Police (DGP) Suresh Arora said that the Punjab police is ready to tackle any situation in state. No one will be allowed to break law and order in Punjab.Relying to an query, DGP said that the decision to ban internet services will be taken according to the situation. As many as 75 companies of Paramilitary force have arrived in state and Punjab police will also ensure law and order situation. Commissioner of Police, RN Dhoke said that the maximum force including cops of wings, branches and police line will be deputed on field duty. The senior officials will monitor the situation in their respective areas and strict action will be taken against anti social elements.The Police commissioner RN Dhoke held a meeting with supporters of Dera Sacha Sauda. The Police have appealed the Dera followers to maintain peace and support police. Commissioner said that the dera followers have assured cooperation and will hold activities peacefully. Police commissioner RN Dhoke said that strict action would be taken against those who will spread rumours regarding agitation and violence.
