For the first time, Indian Space Research Organisation ISRO has launched a Young Scientists Program or YUva VIgyani KAryakram’ (YUVIKA 2019) for school students. ISRO has selected three students from every state to participate in this program.
Aryaman Verma, son of Naveen and Dimple Verma from Ludhiana was shortlisted and got trained as the final selected students for Young Scientist Program from all over Punjab launched by ISRO. He was invited to get mentorship by ISRO Scientists at Space Applications center, Ahemdabad. His name is already registered with India Book of Records for making a Line Follower robot in 2014 and Youngest to develop a Drone in India in 2018. He was also awarded by District administration.
During the Young Scientist Program, Aryaman Verma got an insight on Space Technologies, training by eminent scientists, lab vists, hands-on training and discussion with experts. He visited Vikram Sara Bhai space Exhibition, Physical Research Lab, Institute of Plasma Research Center, SEDA, Science City and attended lectures on Satellites, Origin of Universe, Telescope, Applications of solar energy and many more. All the course material related to Space Technologies were provided by ISRO.
