Ludhiana – The Special task Force (STF) Ludhiana Zone arrested an unemployed man and recovered 300 gram heroine from his possession on Wednesday. The price of recovered heroin is said to be 1.5 crores in International Market. The accused has been identified as Ranjit Singh (22) resident of Ferozepur. He has completed IIT in welding from Ferozepur but didn’t get job and involved in drug peddling. Incharge of STF Inspector Harbans Singh said that the accused was facing drug smuggling case in Ferozepur district.He was involved in smuggling from last two years.Singh further added that the accused revealed that he has brought heroine from a person in district Moga and came to Ludhiana to deliver to his customers. When he reached village Jaspal Bangar, the team of STF have arrested him.The police is investigating the case and will try to trace the supply chain of drugs. Meanwhile a case has been registered against the accused under NDPS act at police Station Sadar.
