Amritsar: State Revenue Minister Bikram Singh Majithia has alleged that by joining the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the Bains brothers have stabbed Punjabis in the back.
He said that the stand of Delhi Chief Minister and AAP’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal regarding the sharing of Punjab’s river waters was very much against Punjab and Punjabis.
Majithia, while talking to Daily Post after inaugurating the Rs 5 crore-66 KV power station at Jalalpura village, falling under his constituency Majitha, also asserted that by remaining silent on the SYL isssue, Kejriwal had already exposed himself.
However, Bains brothers had declared in the assembly that they would not allow even a drop of water of Punjab to go to any other state.
Majithia, said that so far, a sum of Rs 225 crore had been spent either on erecting new power stations or conducting repairs of the existing ones in this constituency which ensured round-the-clock power supply.
The Revenue Minister added that the new nexus created between Bains brothers and AAP was an evil design which was against Punjab and Punjabis.
