Amritsar: Punjab Revenue minister Bikram Singh Majithia on Friday dared Delhi CM and AAP convener Arvind kejriwal to file for day to day hearing in criminal case as the latter will be appearing in court today.
Majithia said Kejriwal’s junior Ashish Khetan had already cleared the ground for not appearing in the case by making an appearance like a fugitive on Thursday to ward off facing a quick trial. “I hope you will not adopt similar diversionary and delaying tactics, which unfortunately have also been adopted by your deputy Sanjay Singh who is facing a criminal defamation case in Ludhian,” added Majithia.
Majithia further said that iit has been proved in past as well that Kejriwal just boasts and if his bluff is caught he finds excuses from public to garner sympathy.
Majithia said Kejriwal should either appear for day to day hearing in the criminal defamation case filed against him. Kejriwal should have the moral courage to come clean and admit all his lapses before the court as well as the people of Punjab. Majithia highlighted how Kejriwal threw Anna Hazare first and later threw AAP co-founders Prashant Bhushan and Yoginder Yadav out from the party fold.
While attacking Congress, Majithia said that it is a divided house as relations between Bajwa and Amarinder are known to public. Lambasting Congress further, he said that party is still in ICU due to anti people measures such as imposing electricity bills on farmers, stopping all facilities to the schedule casts, poor and traders.
