Finance Minister Punjab Manpreet Badal took a decision in Cabinet meeting.Ignoring the hundreds of crores of rupees spent in the recent past on their renovation, Punjab Cabinet on Wednesday finally announced the closure of the state-owned power generation units in Bathinda and Ropar with effect from January 1.
