Justice Surya Kant directed Punjab Government: Today during the resumed hearing of application of SSP, Moga Raj Jit Singh, division bench of justice Surya Kant directed Punjab government to form a SIT of three IPS officers namely IPS Prabodh kumar, director bureau of investigation, IPS Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh, IGP(ats) and IPS siddharth chattopadhyay, DGP(hrd). They will probe regarding the role of SSP Raj Jit Singh in a drug case registered by STF in Mohali.SIT will submit its first status report on next date of hearing I.e. on 31 st January. Punjab government gave six names to court who can be the members of SIT but court selected these three names. SSP, Moga in his application apprehended that ADGP, STF HS Sidhu can falsely implicate him in this drug case. So he demanded investigation from any other officer. On the last date of hearing, 28th November, court directed STF head to probe against SSP Moga in a drug case registered by it as his name was surfaced on the last date of hearing.
