Days after the Punjab Police Inspector Prem Singh posted as Station House Officer (SHO) at Police Station Dehlon has threatened the husband of Panchayat Election candidate and admitted killing several “Babbar” (Daring people), the cop was shifted to Police lines on the orders of Election Commission. Taking the serious note of complaint and news reports, the Election Commission has also taken election powers from Inspector Prem Singh. He was relieved from the post of SHO and shifted to Police lines. Meanwhile, ADCP rank official has also initiated probe in complaint against SHO. The Daily Post has reported the matter prominently following which Election commission has taken the notice of matter. SHO Prem Singh has made a call to husband of candidate of the Panchayat Elections and threatened him to withdraw his candidature in support of Congress leader. The conversation between husband of candidate and SHO was recorded in phone and the complaint was lodged to Commissioner of Police. In a conversation with Panchayat Election candidate, Inspector Prem Singh said that he has killed several “Babbar” but didn’t get any reward. The SHO revealed about the killings when Panchayat election candidate refuses to withdraw candidature for a reason that he was working for the area from past many years. In a reply, SHO said that he has also killed several “Babbar” but didn’t get any reward. In a 4 minute conversation that took place on December 28 (Friday) morning, SHO pressurize Panchayat election candidate Amit Arora several times and told him that contesting Independent against the candidate of ruling party will land him in trouble. The candidate Amit Arora of Dugri told SHO that he had respect for him but can’t withdraw his candidature.
