A horrible accident took place near the national power grid at Singhwala village on the Moga-Kotkapura road in Moga district. A high speed bus collided with truck, in which four persons died and 17 persons were badly injured. As per information, the high speed bus coming from Jaipur and on its way to Jammu collided with the truck due to which bus was getting out of control and then collided with tree.The exact cause of the accident was still under investigation, but it was believed that the driver of the bus might have suffered from drowsiness. Moreover, poor vision due to foggy weather conditions in the wee hours could also be one of the reasons behind the collision. All 17 injured were rushed to the near hospital. One of the patients was referred to Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital at Faridkot.One of the deceased was an army man identified as Rajinder Singh, but his place of residence was yet to be verified. The other three deceased could not be identified immediately. The driver and conductor of the bus also died in the mishap, police said. The police is investigate the matter.
