Sangrur – Union Minister for Food Processing Industries Harsimrat Kaur Badal on Sunday inaugurated a ‘Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra’ in Sunam, about 15-km from here. This is the fourth ‘Kaushal Kendra’ in Punjab. These training centres are being established to skill the unskilled population of the country. Inaugurating the centre, Harsimrat said: “These centres will opened in 600 districts of the country while in the Malwa region of Punjab a total of nine centres would be opened and the next Kaushal Kendra would be opened in Patiala.” She said that in these centres international level training would be imparted without any fee to the needy.Lashing out at the Congress government, Harsimrat said that Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh had promised ‘Ghar Ghar Naukari’ in the assembly elections while no one had got any government job during his regime so far. “On the other hand, the NDA government is planning various schemes to provide employment to the youths,” she added.Without taking name of AAP’s MP from Sangrur Bhagwant Mann, she said that why the person, who had been singing ‘Kikli’ during the SAD-BJP regime at political rallies, had gone on a silent mode now on the issue of drugs when the use of drugs in Punjab is now on the rise. “Besides, the suicides by farmers and crimes have increased like anything,” she added.
