Ludhiana people protests against Garbage dump and illegal fish market. DP Correspondent, Ludhiana: Councillor of ward number 18 along with different area residents staged the protest against not finding a solution for open garbage dump and illegal fish market in Kashmir Nagar.BJP leadership includes councillor Inder Aggarwal, Subash verma, former Ludhiana Improvement trust Chairman and Parveen bansal were present in the protest and have highlighted major point in regard of this problem. However, leadership have highlighted the issue standing near the dump and claimed that authorities are not taking care of the problems as these are the basic civic problems as residents are suffering from numerous of problems.A tent was installed adjoining the open garbage dump where residents and leadership gathered to solve the issues and highlighted problems. However, illegal fish market was installed and no permission was taken in regard of this. However numerous of complaints have been given to concerned department but no action has been taken so far.“The illegal fish market is being organised without any permission under very unhygienic conditions at the open garbage dump along a nullah, creating foul stench. MC should wake up from deep slum and take immediate steps to redress grievances”, said Aggarwal.
