Rana Eye and Test Tube baby centre has been awarded entry level NABH accreditation. This makes it the first eye hospital in Ludhiana and the first test tube baby center in Punjab to be accredited. The hospital had to go through tough inspections by the team of NABH. NABH accreditation is the highest quality certification for hospitals in India. IRDA has made it mandatory for all the best hospitals to be accredited for carrying out cashless empanelments . Rana hospital has been spearheading this campaign of maintaining the quality standards and therefore voluntarily offered NABH to visit the hospital to check its quality and services. Both the fields, eye and test tube baby, require high level of sterility protocols which are difficult to achieve. “Achieving these standards is no mean task and it is due to our dedicated team of highly qualified doctors, nurses and other paramedical staff” said Dr Brijinder S Rana ,Director of the hospital. For our patients , it means that they are receiving medical treatment at a hospital that subscribes to the highest quality standards in healthcare. NABH is an institution member of the International Society of quality in healthcare(ISQUA).The accredited hospitals have to maintain the quality standards continuously and diligently because the NABH team reinspects the hospitals at regular intervals.
