Sena leader Rohit Sahni faked threats to get security. Ludhiana Police on Wednesday nabbed Shiv Sena Hind leader Rohit Sahni and five others for cooking up threat stories to seek more security.On the basis of the messages, the police had given temporary security to Sahni’s brother-in-law, Sanchit. The police said “Rohit had assured the person allegedly sending the fake threat messages that he too would be provided security”. The alleged message sender was also made the district president of the Shiv Sena Hind, police said.
Sahni had allegedly shown fake threat messages to the police to get more security for himself and his brother-in-law. Rohit had alleged that the message sender had identified himself as a “Khalistani” and threatened to “kill Sahni and his brother-in-law”. They had urged the police to bring gangster Jaggu on production warrant from the jail and question him in this regard. They also alleged that apart from gangster Jaggu, Rohit also received threats from some Khalistani militants. Ludhiana Police said, Sena leader Rohit Sahni faked threats to get security.Ludhiana has around seven Shiv Sena outfits and all are given security by the police. Sena leader Sahni was earlier with the Sri Hindu Takht led by Panchanand Giri of Patiala, but he later parted ways and formed his separate outfit Shiv Sena Hind.
Earlier, in a complaint to the police, Sena activists had alleged that gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, who is lodged in the Amritsar Central Jail, had issued life threats to Rohit through Facebook messenger.
