Chandigarh(Narinder Jagga): Disappointed for being ignored in the expansion of the Punjab cabinet, nearly 22 Congress MLAs has stayed away themselves from the Jan Akrosh rally, which organised today in Delhi. Although everybody, who did not attend the rally, have separate reason, but as well as they expressed their protest for not including them in cabinet. But there was common reason for not attending rally and it was unfit of health or no massage from the party. Another MLA told on the condition of anonymity, nobody knows in the crowd, who came and who did not come. But rebellion like situation has been created as in 2003, when 22 MLAs under the leadership of Rajinder Kaur Bhattal, had opened the front against then CM Amrinder Singh. Sources in the party told that annoyed MLAs will soon hold a meeting.More than two dozen MLAs are to be told unhappy with the performance of Amrinder Government. Some are annoyed for not including them in the Cabinet; few are annoyed for not accommodating them, while some are annoyed for not taking them time for meeting. Interestingly, three MLAs Sangat Singh Gilzia from Urmar, Nathu Ram from Balluana and Navtej Singh Cheema from Sultanpur Lodhi, he had raised revolt foremost publically for not including them in cabinet, were stayed away from the rally. Gilzia told Daily Post that he was neither invited for rally nor was asked to send worker.Nathu Ram said, he was not physically fit. Daily Post had confirmed some name of MLAs, who did not attend the rally, were Randeep Singh from Amloh, Parminder Singh Pinki from Ferozepur, Gurkirat Singh Kotli from Khanna, former Minister Rana Gurjit Singh, Deputy Speaker Ajaib Singh Bhatti, Surinder Kumar Dawar, Nathu Ram Balluana, Surjit Singh Dhiman from Sangrur, Darshan Singh Brar form Bagha Purana, Amrik Singh Dhillon from Samrala, Ramanjit Singh Sikki from Khadoor Sahib, Pargat Singh from Jalandhar Cantt, while other MLAs, who are believed to stay away from today’s rally, did not attend the phone call. MLA from Gurdaspur Brindermeet Singh Pahda, who attended the rally, but told that it was the first time Punjab Bhawan in Delhi was seen without hustle and bustle of Punjab MLAs.
