Rules are same for everyone, proves Ludhiana DCP. Such incidents have been happening lately that people have reached the authorities through social media and got their things done. Sushma Swaraj is quite popular for helping people who reached out to her for help through twitter. Instead of simply sharing some incidents on Facebook, people have started to share them with the authorities as well. Another example of it is popular singer on social media, Dhinchak Pooja. In her recent song, she was seen driving a scooter without helmet. One of the twitter users tweeted her photographs on scooter without helmet to the Delhi Police. Further, Delhi Police too did not take much time. They asked for the location and assured immediate action.Similarly, a complaint through Facebook was sent to an IPS officer. The complaint was about a female police constable who was driving her scooter without a helmet. Someone captured her photo and forwarded it to IPS Dhruman Nimbale, who is serving as Ludhiana DCP. IPS Nimbale took notice of the photo and reacted quickly. IPS Nimbale yesterday took to his Facebook account and shared his actions taken against the accused woman. In his Facebook post, he has uploaded the woman constable’s photo along with the Challan issued to her for driving without helmet. Also, he exclaimed that the rules were same for everyone. His post has been shared by over a hundred users. This incident also throws a light on how social media can become the voice of a person if it is used for a good cause.
