A day after Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi party’s convenor, Arvind kejriwal alleged that Punjab Deputy Chief Minister, Sukhbir Singh Badal has 63 video CD’s against AAP, the latter denied allegations as utterly baseless. While addressing media at Punjab Vidhan Sabha on Friday in Chandigarh, DyCM said that he has no CD against AAP.“I have no CD against them but if Kejriwal knows about those CD’s , he must sack those 63 people from his party”, quipped Dy CM.
Leveling an allegation on Kejriwal, Sukhbir stated that Kejriwal wants to make Punjab a battleground and he is eyeing states like Gujarat and MP. While taking a jibe on kejriwal’s promise to people of Punjab about making Amritsar a holy city, imposing complete ban on liquor and meat soon after coming to power, Dy CM added that first of all AAP should make its leaders holy by not drinking liquor.
Launching a scathing attack on Bhagwant Mann, Sukhbir said that Kejriwal should ask him not to drink before promising to make Amritsar a holy city, which otherwise is already a holy city with liquor and meat already banned. “Kejriwal knows nothing about Punjab, it is already notified as a holy city.
Dy CM also fired series of allegations on Congress party, labelling party as ‘Destructive Opposition’ in regard to its approach in Vidhan Sabha’s monsoon session. He said that congress as opposition has failed to do its duty. Coming down hard on Cngress, he said that only agenda of Congress is to make headlines and they have no other intention.
Reacting on Navjot Singh Sidhu’s new political front ‘Awaz-e-Punjab,’ Dy CM said that all these people who are making new fronts are opportunist. “Same Navjot Singh Sidhu was praising Kejriwal around 15-20 days back and when denied CM rank he launched a new front,” said Sukbir Singh Badal.
‘SAD to replace 25 candidates’

He stated that candidates from Phillaur, Sanaur, Amloh and Banga will be replaced. However, he restrained from revealing the complete list but admitted that many candidates including few sitting ones will be replaced with new candidates.
“Our candidates are more or less declared and the message has already been passed to respective workers. Candidates are already working in their constituencies, therefore an official announcement is mere a formality, but yes some candidates have been replaced. We will launch the manifesto closer to the election”, Deputy Chief Minister said.Responding to a question on swapping of seats with BJP, Deputy Chief Minister said that party will be meeting BJP shortly and decide only after seeing latter’s proposal.
