When DailyPost team visited different slums of the city, the condition was found to be pathetic, forget about the basic facilities, they don’t even have healthy living conditions. Women claimed that they live in bad conditions with no facilities at all.
They said that authorities never visited their place to check scope of development in the area. They also told that no one even comes to their place for making them aware about their rights, and schemes being run for women.

She said, “We don’t have information about our rights. No one comes from any department to create awareness regarding schemes and benefits, which the women can avail.”
Geeta, a 13-year-old girl in the slum, said, “I am aware about this event, as two days earlier this was discussed in our class, but this day has no meaning in our area, as people are suffering due to lack of basic facilities. We are living in pathetic conditions. Government should provide facilities to us.”
