Former Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal, speaks out over the death of former DGP KPS Gill and said that the one who comes to this worldhave to go back. He said that no one is immortal, everyone has to leave this world one day. The Shiromani Akali Dal did not express any grief over the death of KPS Gill. There is a protest in the major part of the Sikhs towards Gill. Therefore, the Akali Dal is defending itself from commenting on this. On Saturday, Badal said that everyone has to die one day.According to the report of the Indian Express, he was asked that he expressed condolences on the death of KPS Gill. He said that this kind of condolence message is released by the party’s Public Relations Department. He was not well from some time and he has arrived in Chandigarh on Sunday.This is to be consider that Jathedars appointed by Sarbat Khalsa have made a press conference in Bathinda and urged the Sikh community not to join the funeral of former DGP KPS Gill (Kanwar Pal Singh). Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, appointed by Sarbat Khalsa in 2015, Dhyan Singh Mand, and Jathedar of Damdama Sahib Talwandi Sabo, Baljit Singh Daduwal has prohibited the Sikh community’s granthi, kirtanis and ardasiyas from performing kirtan and prayers on the occasion of Gill’s last rites.Jathedars said that KPS Gill used the power of uniform and killed thousands of Sikh youth and tortured their families. Sikh community will can never forgive him for it. He said that if any Sikh is involved in the final ceremonies of Gill, then he will be summoned to Sri Akal Takht Sahib. KPS Gill will be cremated today.
