Pb State Suwidha Employee’s Union demands reinstatement of employees
Jalandhar(DP Correspondent) – The Punjab State Suwidha Employee’s Union on Saturday appealed to Punjab government to reinstate its employees, who were out of job for the last one year. State President Ravinder Ravi said that seven months have passed since the congress came to power but the government was running away from fulfilling its duty. The union members have been holding protests and seeking justice but the state government was evasive, he said.Union General secretary Varinderpal Singh said that in the recent past, they held meetings with Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh but to no avail. “Though the government was promising action but nothing has been done so far”, he said. The Suwidha employees said that besides this recently they also met Power Minister Rana Gurjeet Singh, who too assured that the matter was under consideration but no concrete steps were being taken. “We are hopeful that the congress government would accept our demands and reinstate us”, they maintained.
