Phagwara, October 4 : – Phagwara Mayor and BJP leader Arun Khosla, who recently hit the national headlines in Kidney scam is in news again! Phagwara Municipal Corporation (MC) Commissioner Bakhtawar Singh Wednesday lodged a written complaint against Arun Khosla for forcibly occupying his office situated on the civic body’s premises. MC Commissioner Bakhtawar Singh sent a complaint to Additional Principal Secretary Local Bodies Department and mentioned that Arun Khosla along with his supporters occupied his office. Bakhtawar Singh recently joined as MC Commissioner.In his complaint, commissioner stated that he had doubts that Khosla and his supporters could steal important documents and files from office. “If any important file went missing from my office, Arun Khosla should be held responsible”, he said. The MC Commissioner also said that Khosla and his supporters were disturbing him in performing his duty. “Khosla along with his supporters was affecting my work in the office, hence the matter has been brought to your notice”, he highlighted.However, when contacted Khosla categorically said that no complaint was lodged against him. “No such issue took place, rather the MC commissioner joined in the presence of the MC Assistant Commissioner. I have been sitting in my office ie mayor’s office. Earlier also our previous presidents have been sitting in this office. The issue is sorted out”, he said. Notably, Khosla name cropped up in Kidney scam, where it came to the fore that he paid Rs 40 lakh to alleged kingpin Suresh Prajapati and his aid Vrunchantala Nizamuddin to get kidney for his daughter from an Andhra Pradesh based donor. The kidney transplant was to take place in Cairo in Egypt this year.
