Phoolka reiterates to resign on September 17, Party endorses it. Aam Aadmi Party is ready to play Sikh religious card in the Punjab. MLA and former leader of Opposition HS Phoolka has reiterated to resign on September 16 before the Sri Harimandir Sahib and later before the Speaker of Assembly on September 17. Although Phoolka said that it was his personal and emotional decision and till today no leader from the party has asked him in this regard. He also denied contesting MP election in future. Other hand, the Co-convener of the State Unit Dr. Balbir Singh , while talking to Daily Post, said that party is agree with the decision of Phoolka. He also said that the party high command has called a meeting on Monday in Delhi in this regard.

Phoolka was here in Chandigarh Press Club to talk with media-persons. He told that the Captain Government was playing with this issue to gain political mileage in rural election, while the Government in no mood to take further step in this regard. Replying to a question, he said that the decision to resign was his personal and he did not take any advice from the party and nobody came or contacted him in this regard. He described that the Government was telling a lie about the cases, while the cases of firing is still with Punjab Police and it can take action in a day to book some others. He also criticises the five Ministers Navjot Sidhu, Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa, Manpreet Singh Badal and Charanjit Singh Channi for describing his decision to resign as an attempt to obstruct the course of Justice and said such act do not behove a senior leader, while challenging them, Phooka said they can held a debate in this regard and he is able to prove it that he is not obstructing.

Phoolka is in touch with party-Balbir

Co-convener of the Party Dr Balbir Singh has said that MLA Phoolka is in constantly touch with the party. He said,Phooka will resign from the MLA ship no from the Party. Endorsing such step, Balbir Singh told that Government cannot take much time to take action in sacrilege and firing issue. He also told that the Converner of the Party Arvind Kejriwal has convened a meeting on Punjab affairs on Monday and the issue of Phoolka will be discussed in the meeting. Other hand the leader of the Opposition, Harpal Singh Cheema said that MLA Phoolka did not discuss the resignation issue with the Party. He said that he will meet Phoolka on Sunday in this regard.
