Ludhiana: Vigilance Bureau, Ludhiana Range on Tuesday caught an official of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) red-handed while accepting bribe.
Vigilance Bureau officials informed that the accused identified as Sadhu Singh is posted as Superintendent, PSPCL office on Kakowal Road, Ludhiana. He had demanded bribe of Rs 20,000 from Dalip Kumar of Chawal Bazar, Ludhiana for installation of connection of power supply.
The complainant approached the Vigilance Department which laid a trap and arrested the accused while accepting the bribe. The bribe money was also recovered from him.
