BATHINDA: On Thursday, the police have retained two unidentified persons for allegedly snatching car by injuring its occupier and opening fire at him near village Ramsra. Based on complaint by Jagmeet Singh, a resident of Jassi Pau Wali, a case under section 394 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and under Arms Act was registered against unidentified people at the Rama police station.
The complainant alleged that the carjackers injured his brother-in-law Jagtar Singh by opening fire at him and ran away with his car bearing registration number PB-03-AJ-4235 and on Thursday evening.The police said that injured man was standing with two other persons near the car when two miscreants came in a car and took them at gun point and ran away with car after injuring the man. The police were trying to trace out the accused.
