Ludhiana: Sacred Heart files complaint to CM against eating joint. One of the prominent Sacred Heart Convent School, Sarabha nagar on Sunday files a complaint against the eatery joint ‘TruckShuk’ outside their school with Chief Minister Punjab in regard of causing several traffic and parking problems for school vans.Complaint was given against the eatery ‘TruckShuk’ as school authorities highlighted that this eatery is becoming major problem for the school and their students as waste of disposals and liquor bottle usually seen at that particular area regularly.
On being contacted to school principal Reshmi in regard of this complaint, she articulated that this area is for school van parking and most of the times the ‘tandoor’ set up just next to the eatery joint which can become a major problem for the students.
Reshmi further claimed that, eatery joint always claimed that they have taken permission from Municipal Corporation. Howbeit, school authorities have given this complaint to Deputy Commissioner and Chief Minister of Punjab twice. She complained that no action has been taken so far.She claimed that some of the people are coming for inspection in this regard on Monday and rest of the matter will be taken to consideration after seeing this. However, she further claimed that ample of parents have given complaints to school authorities in this regard as this eatery is causing problems and alluring the students for fast and junk food which is not health for them. On the other hand, school authorities claimed that this eatery is being owned by one of the most influential leader though no action has been taken so far.
