Patiala:The Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) on Wednesday announced to expel two of it’s leaders belonging to Samana keeping in view their involvement in anti-party activities and indiscipline as well.
An announcement in this connection was made by the district president of the party Bhai Saroop Singh Sandha and the executive committee member of the party Bhai Rajinder Singh Fatehgarh Chhana while addressing the media persons at the Sub-divisional township of Samana near here.
These leaders announced that the party’s urban wing chief from Samana Bhai Satnam Singh Samana and halqa in-charge for Samana Rajpal Singh Bhinder have been immediately expelled from the party for their involvement in the anti-party activities and indiscipline as well.
It may be mentioned here that Rajpal Singh Bhinder was the party ticket aspirant from Samana assembly segment area but the party ticket was given to Bhai Rajinder Singh Fatehgarh Channa.
They said that even though the party gave ticket to Bhai Rajinder Singh Fatehgarh Channa as its the prerogative of the party but both of these party leaders openly opposed the party’s candidate in the election and worked for another candidate in Samana area. These leaders added that even as the district president of the party Habhajan Singh Kashmir has also asked them desist from the anti-party activities and support the party’s candidate but they failed to fall in line.
When asked have they got permission for the same from the party president Simranjit Singh Mann over the matter then they said that no need to take him in confidence over this matter to the party president as the matter was in their purview only.
