Shawet Malik to issue of Tax Holiday policy for border industry in Parliament
Batala(Pardeep Luthra) – Rajya Sabha member and former Amritsar mayor Shawet Malik would raise the issue of Tax holiday for Punjab border Industry in forth coming parliament session. While taking part in the election campaign in favour of BJP candidate Swaran Salaria from Gurdaspur parliament by election in this industrial city today, he said that Punjab border industry suffered a major loss due to two Indo pak wars followed by militancy and he would raise the issue of tax holiday in the parliament in an order to revive the Punjab border industry on the pattern of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pardesh, Uttra Khand and other eastern states.He said if, parliament pass the policy, then industry would not only flourish but generate employment to thousands of unemployed youth in the state. Former Mayor said that BJP would demand votes on the development issue by the Union Government led by Prime Minister Nareder Modi and 10 years regime of SAD BJP led by Parkash Singh Badal in the state. He alleged that Congress government led by Chief Minister Captain Amrider Singh could not fulfil the election manifesto even in the six months of its regime.He was accompanied by BJP state general secretary Kewal Kumar and district NJP Chief Rakesh Bhatia.
