Amritsar : It was a day of celebrations for father and elder brother of Karan, a disable teenager, as they found him after a hiatus of eleven years. The tattoo on the wrist of Karan played a key role in reuniting him with his family.
Karan suffered a paralysis attack which left him disabled and as a result he lost his voice. It was during 2006 that Karan went to see Kumbh fair in Haridwar, along with his family and got separated.
During the childhood of Karan, his father had got a tattoo inscribed upon wrist which mentioned name of his village. Two traders from Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh) visited Pingalwara with a view to trace their lost children. When they were making enquiries from inmates of Pingalwara, Karan put his wrist before them.
After scrutinising the tattoo the traders spotted the name of village written in it. The name of the village was Bhorso, in district Muzaffarnagar.
The traders then informed the village head through phone and announcement was made in the village.
On Friday, Karan’s father Vijay Pal and borther Sunil Kumar arrived in Pingalwara at Amritsar and found their loved one in good health.
