Patiala:The ongoing feud between the Damdami Taksal led by Amrik Singh Ajnala and Sikh preacher Ranjit Singh Dhandrianwala further flared up on Monday as Dhandrianwala came out with a hard- hitting statement and questioned Ajnala’s stand regarding the death of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwala.
It may be mentioned here that the present feud between the two cropped up after Dhandrianwala made a statement about Ninth Sikh Guru Guru Tegh Bahadur’s 26-year stay at Baba Bakala and rejected the notion that the Guru had ever used any kind of Bhora (basement) for meditation purpose during the time but stated that Guru had worked in the area for propagating Sikhism.
However, Ajnala strongly objected to it and later lodged a protest by organising a dharna in front of the main gate of the headquarters of Dhandrianwala Parmeshwar Dwar near here along with over 60 followers and sought a direct meeting with Dhandriawala, but failed to meet him as at that time Dhandrianwala was said to be out of town.
Interestingly, when organising the protest the Damdami Taksal’s followers even used some personal harsh words against Dhadrianwala which prompted in antagonising the followers of Dhandrianwala.
