DP Correspondent , Ludhiana:-In a major crackdown, the Special task Force (STF) have arrested three persons and recovered 2.5 Kg heroine worth several Crores and Pakistani Mobile Phone and Sim card from their possession. The accused were facing several cases of drugs and RDX smuggling. The accused has been identified as Gurlal Singh alias Lally, Prabh Singh and Gurpreet Singh alias Gopi.Incharge of STF, Harbans Singh said that they have arrested accused when they were travelling in Hyndai Creta car and recovered half KG heroine. Following the information provided by accused and with the help of Border Security force (BSF) two KG heroine was recovered near Boarder. The accused had ordered the heroine from Pakistan and the consignment was buried near the barbed wire at Indo-Pak Border in Ferozepur, said Harbans Singh.He further said that Gurlal Singh is facing more than one dozen cases of drugs and RDX smuggling. He use to visit Pakistan to bring RDX. He was lodged in Amritsar Jail and came out of Parlole of forty days and didn’t return back. Harbans Singh said that the accused had brought 23 KG heroine from Pakistan till now and 20 Kg was already delivered it customers. The Police is further investigating the matter and hope for more recovers, he added.
