Ludhiana: Captain Amarinder Singh, stated on Saturday that he will burn an effigy of ‘Chitta Ravana’ at the site of Dussehra eve clash in Ludhiana. On the same day Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address small businesses on October 18 in Ludhiana.
As soon as Modi starts speaking, ‘ Chitta Ravana’ will go up in flames, quipped Captain.“I will personally burn up ‘Chitta Ravana’, let them try and stop me if they can,” challenged Amarinder to Akali government, asserting “I want to show PM Modi what kind of goondas he is supporting.”
“Let Modi also get a taste of how Punjab is burning under Akali-BJP combine rule,” said Captain Amarinder, while launching a frontal attack on the state government over drugs menace that continues to spread unchecked under its regime.
Describing Chitta Ravana as a `demonic symbol’ of Badal government’s evil dispensation, Captain Amarinder Singh made it clear that Congress will fight the drugs menace in the state till it’s completely wiped out.
Capt also came down heavily on Badal government for spurt in atrocities against Dalits across the state and demanded stern action against those involved in recent killing of a Mansa youth and other incidents of violence against the community. He also visited injured DCC president Gurpreet Gogi, who is in hospital since Dussehra attack on him by Akali workers.
