Chandigarh: Indian national congress (INC) has sacked the Youth Congress leader Birender Dhillon from the post of Ananpur Sahib In-charge due to the anti party activities in Panjab University student elections, on Monday. Birender Dhillon, who was former president of SOPU and later joined NSUI, has sliced the NSUI into two pieces for contesting the PU elections 2017.
In the replacement of Dhillon, the congress party has appointed Manjot Singh as in-charge of Anandpur Sahib Lok Sabha constituency of youth congress.
Few days back, during the press conference a group of NSUI supported by Dhillon opposed the selection of campus candidates and left the conference in the middle.
