Mohali: The festival of divine incarnation of Supreme God Father Shiva is being celebrated with great devotion, zeal and enthusiasm by Mohali-Ropar Circle of Brahmakumaris.
Various programmes like prabhat pheris, peace marches, public programmes, spiritual discourses, exhibitions, meditation etc are being organised on this sacred occasion in Mohali, Kharar, Kurali, Morinda, Ropar and Nurpur Bedi and nearby villages. The 16 days programmes in Mohali-Ropar Circle of Brahma Kumaris started to-day which will continue up to February 26. Brahma umari Premlata Director, Rajyoga Centres Mohali-Ropar Circle will preside over the programmes.
Few of the programmes will be as follows: The main public programme in Mohali is being organised on Friday 24th February from 10.30 am which will be inaugurated by various dignitaries from all walks of life by lighting 51 candles and Brahma Kumari sisters will explain the spiritual significance of Shivratri in present era. Brahma Kumaris, Shantikunj, Model Town, Kurali will be held on February 12 from 10 am to 12 noon in which Krishna Dhiman President Municipal Council Kurali will be the Chief Guest.
In Morinda Brahma Kumaris near Christian School Chuni Road, the programme will be from 4 pm to 6 pm on Feb 14 in which Balwinder Singh Bajwa President Municipal Council Morinda will be Chief Guest. The programme at Brahma Kumaris, Old Mata Gujri Enclave Kharar will be organised on Feb 15 from 5.30 pm in which Anju
Chander President, Municipal Council Kharar will be Chief Guest.
In Nurpur Bedi (Ropar) the programme will be organised in Old Shiv Mandir in which Deputy Commissioner, Ropar Karnesh Sharma, IAS will be the Chief Guest on Sunday February 19. Brahma Kumari Prem Lata Director Rajyoga Centres Mohali-Ropar Circle will preside.
