MD Global is going to reveal Nokia’s future plans for India on May 8. Alongside discussing the future plan of the company, HMD is also expected to reveal the India launch date of the upcoming Nokia 3310, Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 phones.
The company has invited media for an event in New Delhi. The press note reads as follows: “HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones invites you to a conversation with Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer, HMD Global.” Sarvikas said the Nokia Android handsets’ design and software updates will be the real differentiators for buyers, not just the specifications.
There is no launch expected for the Nokia Android phones that day in India. However, chances are that the Finnish company will announce the launch date of the most awaited Nokia 6, Nokia 5, Nokia 3 and also the 2017-edition of the nostalgic Nokia 3310. Sources close to India Today Tech a few days ago confirmed that the Nokia 6, Nokia 5, Nokia 3 and also the Nokia 3310 will hit the Indian shores next month’s that is in June. Although it is possible that the launch may happen in late May with the availability of the devices followed in June. To recall, HMD showcased these Nokia phone at the CES 2017 event back in February. The most-awaited of the lot is the Nokia 3310, which is an upgraded version of the black and white Nokia 3310 device. It’s a phone made for Nokia fans. The new Nokia 3310 looks very different from the old Nokia 3310. The key highlight of the Nokia 3310 (2017) will be of course its battery. The feature phone will include a 1200 mAh battery which as per the company is said to last for 22.1 hours of talk time, 31 days of standby, 51 hours of MP3 playback and 39 hours FM radio playback.
