A woman belonging to Sikh Community, Meera Gill raised this issue on the social media. She says beside many good products on #Amazon a couple of those products are being sold that are offensive, disrespectful or an ignorant attempt against #Sikhcommunity and at large against the #humanity. I won’t post the picture as it will perpetuate the very act I am attempting to stop. A picture of #TheGoldenTemple is being imprinted on the mats. I think the manufacturers are naive and do not have a clue as to what despicable act they are committing. Nevertheless, I would encourage you to DO these two steps. Give review- Please search for the Golden Temple products and the ones you will find offensive, write a review requesting Amazon to take then off the website. You will have to give it a rating to post your review so give one star and write something like -“Do you people understand that it is the most pious place on this earth where afters year of religious drama to divide people, this was built with 4 doors to welcome all people as one human race? Such products do not only try to disrespect the feelings and history of Sikh race but also the message of humanity at large. Please take this product and also similar products off immediately. There is a lot of disappointment and anger in Sikh community across the globe. I had to give one star as the reply does not go through without it, but consider this a much rejection from my side. “ Secondly Call Amazon – Go into your amazon account and follow the pictures I have posted and once you will fill your phone number, you will immediately receive a back from an agent. Please let them know how the Sikh community feels about these products and why you would appreciate the immediate removal of such products. Feel free to message me if you have any question or you would like to offer another practical solution.
