Ashish Nehra left handed fast bowler has represented India under seven captains across his 18-year-long career. Nehra made his Test debut under Mohammad Azharuddin in 1999 and his ODI debut under Sourav Ganguly in 2001 followed by T20I debut under MS Dhoni in 2009. Other captains Ashish Nehra has played under include Virat Kohli, Gautam Gambhir, Rahul Dravid and Anil Kumble.Ashish Nehra just does not seem to give up on cricket. He has always been either in and out of the squad for various reasons but he is still going strong by performing for India in T20s. Nehra made his debut under the former Indian captain, Azharuddin. Though he was still young and precocious, Nehra was a good player for the country back in 1999 and was slowly finding his way in international cricket.Nehra was also splendid in the 2003 World Cup as he bowled brilliantly in South Africa and was a major part of the reason India made it to the final in that occasion. He was at his prime and was one of the best bowlers in the world.He even played and won the 2011 World Cup under Dhoni’s captaincy, bowling well against the Pakistanis after having been thrashed versus South Africa. He even played under Dhoni in the IPL for the popular Chennai Super Kings franchise. Nehra has found his place as a T20 bowler thanks to his immense experience and ability to pitch the ball well.
