From organizing live events in India to crowning an Indian as the Champ, WWE is expanding it’s business very well in the country. Kavita Devi WWE.WWE recently organized a women wrestler’s tournament, called Mae Young Classic. In this tournament, Kavita Devi became the first ever woman from India to have participated in a WWE tournament. Despite the fact that she was eliminated in round 1, Kavita still made her impact. At present, Kavita Devi has become the first ever Indian woman to become a part of WWE. The announcement was made on WWE’s official Facebook page. In a photo posted by WWE, she was seen standing with WWE Champion Jinder Mahal. Jinder Mahal is currently on his tour in India. Kavita Devi, from Haryana, became popular though a video. In the video, she wrestled against a woman wrestler in Salwaar Kameez and it went viral on social media. A former competitive power-lifter, she was trained by The Great Khali, former WWE Superstar.
