Thermal plant issue take new turn: The Punjab Government has already decided to close two units of Ropar Thermal Plant and all units of Bathinda Thermal from January. Due to this decision he said around 6 thousand employees and about 800 employees on the contract base will be unemployed.

This decision of the Cabinet is based on the report of the Cabinet Sub-Committee constituted on this issue. This plants will be officially close from 1st January.
