Congress stand AAP links terror groups endorse Raja Warring. Indian Youth Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring today said that the Congress stand that the Aam Aadmi Party was being supported by the anti-national elements stood endorse with the arrest of pro-Khalistan activist Gurdial Singh of Garhshankar who was recently arrested by the police.
In a statement issued here today, Raja Warring asked the AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal to explain his position over the arrest of the pro-Khalistani activist with clear links with the AAP.He pointed out, Gurdial Singh had actively campaigned for the AAP candidate in Garhshankar, Jaikishen Singh Rorhi, during the last assembly elections which has been proved beyond doubt in today’s newspaper reports with photographic evidence.
The IYC president pointed out, AAP was deliberately trying to play the radical and secessionist agenda with the AAP convener Kejriwal staying in the house of an ex-Khalistani militant in Moga a few days before the February 2017 elections. He observed that the matter needs to be thoroughly probed as Punjab cannot afford to play with fire which the AAP is trying to pushing it into. Raja Warring said, all the mainstream political parties had continuously been raising the issue of the AAP’s association with the radicals and the anti-national forces as it had become dumping ground for such elements.
He said, even ahead of elections there was an attempt on the Congress candidate Harminder Jassi in Maur. All these issues need to be probed by the investigating agency. Meanwhile, the IYC president asked Kejriwal to come clean on the issue and clarify his position.
“Although there is no doubt that you have been trying to cozy up with the radicals and anti-nationals in desperate bid to capture power in Punjab, the recent arrest of Grudial Singh has proved it beyond any doubt”, he said.
