Hoshiarpur: Family members of 20-year-old Navjot Singh, who was on board of missing Air force plane AN- 32, were praying for him to see him alive. The family members were getting the updates of every minutes from the news agencies with alive hope to see him again.
Narita, mother of Navjot Singh said that he was recently join Indian Air Force following the guidelines of his maternal uncle. She added that her brother informed her about the news of missing 29 people on board and Navjot was among them.
Search teams have detected 4-5 pings from the ocean bed, however, it is yet to be verified if those are from the AN-32 aircraft of the Indian Air Force which went missing last Friday (July 22) soon after taking off from Chennai’s Tambaram air base for Port Blair. “We have detected 4-5 pings, trying to verify whether these are real or false alarms,” Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar said.
MASSIVE SEARCH OPERATION CONTINUES
An intensive search for the missing IAF’s AN-32 transport plane with 29 people on board entered the fifth day today. No debris or survivors have been located yet.
