Bathinda: Former Congress MP Jagmeet Singh Brar on Monday said that he would disclose his next political move on August 15 after holding a conference at Sarabha village. Brar also claimed that he along with his like-minded people was touring the constituencies to garner support under Lok Hit Abhiyan, which would continue till August 15, after which the new programme would be given. Jagmeet who was sacked from the Congress for his ‘anti-party’ activities, gave an ultimatum to the state police to arrest Punjab Agro chairman Dyal Singh Kolianwali within 24 hours, with a warning that failing to do so would make them launch a massive protest. He lashed out at ruling alliance claiming that Kolianwali was a middleman of the Chief Minister’s family in such illegal activities with a further mention that the Malout municipal councillor Sham Lal Daddi who has been arrested in the case was also just a pawn. Meanwhile, Brar demanded a free-and-fair probe from the CBI in the Malerkotla Quran sacrilege incident. He also smelt a political conspiracy in the case. On the occasion, he also informed that he had constituted a 201-member advisory committee, also having some former MLAs, to study all serious issues related to the state, with a further programme to hold discussions on the same on July 9 at Bathinda. “During the discussion which would be attended by the delegates of 64 assembly constituencies falling in Malwa region, we will try to find out the solution of the menaces,” said Brar. Speaking about AAP’s 51-point manifesto for youth of Punjab, Kejriwal said that would be quite beneficial for the youth but mentioned that the one-point programme which he would give to the masses on August 15, would be the solution to all problems of the state.
