Pune: In a noble gesture, the organisers of Indo International Premier Kabaddi League (IIPKL) has announced to share its profit amount with Kabaddi players, Kabaddi welfare associations and families of martyrs of defence forces.
Veteran Kabaddi Player and promoter of IIPKL Dr. Prasad Babu informed that IIPKL will share twenty percent of its profit for the Kabaddi welfare associations of India for the development of Kabaddi and twenty percent to the players and ten percent to the defense martyrs.
Accompanied by IIPKL Director Ravikiran and others, Prasad Babu said that IIPKL will provide a platform to budding Kabaddi players and also help the Kabaddi associations for the welfare of Kabaddi.
The grand opening of Indo International Premier Kabaddi League (IIPKL) will be held at Shri Shivachattrapati Stadium, Balewadi, Pune on May 13, 2019 (Monday) at 6.00pm. Famous actress Kainaat Arora and dance crew MJ5, North India’s star singers MDKD and Patriotic singer Kavi Singh will be performing on the opening ceremony of IIPKL.
Virender Sehwag and Ajinke Rahane, renowned cricketers and Kabaddi lovers are proud to be the brand ambassadors of the IIPKL.
The eight teams participating in the league are Banglore Rhinos, Chennai Challengers, Diler Delhi, Telugu Bulls, Mumbai Che Raje, Pune Pride, Haryana Heros and Pondy Predators.
44 matches between eight teams will be held in three cities i.e Pune, Mysore and Banglore from May 13 to June 4. The prizes worth several crores will be given away to winning teams.
Ravikiran informed that the winning team will get prize money of Rs 1.25 crores, first runner up will get Rs 75 lakh, Rs 50 lakh as third prize and Rs 25 lakh as fourth prize.
