Misa bharti interrogated 7 hours :Income Tax Department. Lalu Prasad Yadav’s daughter and Rajya Sabha MP Misa Bharti reached the office of the Income Tax Department located at Jhandeevala on Wednesday afternoon. After reaching the office, they were asked questions for about 7 hours. In the case of Anonymous property, the notice has been issued to the Income Tax Department, Misa Bharti for the first time. Explain that the Income Tax Department has seized all the benami property which is said to be related to the Lalu Yadav children. Income Tax Department has seized properties of Lalu’s wife Rabri Devi, son Tejasiv Yadav, daughter Misa Bharti and her husband Shailesh, daughter Ragini and daughter Chanda. Earlier, orders for seizing an Anonymous property belonging to Lalu’s children were issued on Monday.Also, Laloo Yadav’s eldest daughter and Rajya Sabha MP Misa Bharti had also summoned the income tax department, appearing in the income tax department’s office in the first week of July, they were asked to clarify anonymity.
Earlier, the Income Tax Department had seized the property worth 50 crores. According to the Anonymous Act, the department has to give 90 days time to clarify. If the related party fails it, seizure and attachment proceedings are taken.Significantly, the income tax department sent summons to Misa Bharti and her husband Shailesh Kumar, but they did not appear. His lawyer told the media and security reasons behind it. Earlier, on June 6, the Income Tax Department had imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on Misa Bharti. On May 23, last year, the Income Tax Department had raided 22 premises linked to Lalu Yadav and his close aides in the case of benami properties, though Lalu had denied the raid.
