Truck operator died, announcement made by Captain Amarinder.
Bhawanigarh –A truck driver who was shocked by the statement by Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh is not withdrawing the decision to dissolve the truck union had died. After the post mortem of Operator Sher Singh, a large number of truck operators gathered on the Chandigarh-Bathinda highway and blocked the road by kept the dead body of trcu operator and raised slogans against the Punjab government.While addressing the protest, truck union president Vipan Kumar Sharma and former president Gurtej Singh Jhenaidi said that Captain’s government has seized the employment of lakhs of people by vanishing the unions of the state, which would affect thousands of truck owners of the state and With this decision thousands of related to this profession and the conveners will face problems economically and the truck operator will commit suicides as farmers. He said that the responsibility of truck operator Sher Singh’s death was also because of decision of the Punjab government. The deceased Sher Singh was already under debt due to financial weakness, but when the decision of truck unions vanish came out made him very upset. He warns government and said that if the government did not withdraw the plan to disrupt the unions, then they will not know how many other truck operators would die like Sher Singh. He said that state committee would cause trucks to be put one fire in several places in Punjab. He demanded compensation for the family of the deceased operator’s family and to waive debt of victim’s family and later he was cremated at Sher Singh’s village, Balial.
