Chandigarh: Punjab and Haryana High Court on Thursday issued notice of contempt to Punjab Revenue and Rehabilitation Secretary Karan Bir Singh for October 21 in a contempt petition filed by Jasbir Kaur, wife of Major Kanwaljit Singh, Sharuya Chakra, who was taken by Pakistan Army in its custody during 1971 war, according to Army records.
